His biggest achievement as an amateur was securing the third place at the European Cadet Championships in 1997. He was also a two-time junior champion and two-time youth champion of Poland. At the age of 19, he transitioned to the professional ranks. He defeated 6 fighters to claim world championship titles. Throughout his over 20-year professional career, as a member of the KnockOut Promotions group, he participated in twelve world title fights, emerging victorious on eight occasions. As a professional, he engaged in a total of 67 fights, winning 62 of them, including 42 by knockout, with 4 losses and 1 draw.
