Famous Polish Actress Coming to Gorey Soon!!!

We are delighted to announce that the well-known and popular actress Sonia Bohosiewicz will be a guest and star of this year’s PolskaÉire Festival in Gorey, invited by the Gorey.pl association. She gained popularity for her award-winning role as Hanka B. in the film “Rezerwat” (2007), for which she received the Best Supporting Actress award at the 32nd Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, the Zbigniew Cybulski Award, and the Eagle Award for “Discovery of the Year.” She went on to play the character of Natasza, a “dresiara,” in the film “Wojna polsko-ruska” (2009) and portrayed Zbyszek’s wife in the film “Laura” (2010). She has also appeared in television series such as “39 i pół” (2008-2009), “Usta usta” (2010-2011), and “Aida” (2011).

The PolskaÉire Festival is a nationwide annual celebration of Polish-Irish friendship. The aim of the festival is to further strengthen the mutual relations between the Polish and Irish communities by organizing various cultural, sports, business, academic, and social events.
