PolskaEire Family Fun Day 2018

PolskaEire Festival in Gorey was officially opened by Polish Ambassador Ryszard Sarkowicz, Chairman of Gorey Muinicipal District Joe Sullivan and Minister Paul Kehoe. This year our annual celebration took place @ Gorey Civic Square with live music, entertainment for kids, market fair, delicious polish food and first Family Cycle with Cycle Against Suicide. The releasing of the two doves was to symbolise the all communities and groups living, working and going forward together. On that day we also opened photography exhibition “My Kashubia” showing beauty and culture of this amazing region in Northen Poland. Dr Danuta Dettlaff art historian, was talking about cultural heritage of Northen Kashubia. Dr Jan Dettlaff – representative of Gmina (administrative district) Puck and Chairman of Gorey Municipal District signed letter of intent concerning cultural cooperation between two regions.
