Paintings by Kate Kos, painter from Gorey, will be exhibited in Puck under the 15. Puck Artistic Ehxibition

Cooperation between Gorey.pl and the Culture Center of Sport and Tourism in the Puck District is gaining a new colors and dimention, literally.
Two paintings by our local painter Kasia Kos will be exhibited in Puck under the “15. Puck Artistic Ehxibition, entitled: “Puck, Kashubian City on the Little Sea”. The Vernissage will take a place on November 10, 2018 on the occasion of the 100 Anniversary of the Polish Inndependence.
All works of this year exhibition will be available to the public from November 10 to December 15 at the Muzeum Ziemi Puckiej im. Florian Ceynowy in Puck / at the Museum of Puck Herritage.

Kasia Kos lives in Ireland since 2004, is inspired by the landscapes of Wexford County, where she lives with her family.
Kasia’s Polish background and time she spent at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, where she studied Architecture and Urbanism, undoubtedly, affect her style. She is an artist with a delicate approach to watercolors full of clean and fresh colors.

Kate got several awards for her paintings:
First prize of the day in Dublin Plein Air Painting Festival in 2017, Silver (2015) and Bronze (2018) Award at Art In The Open exhibition in Wexford;
Solo ehxibitions: ‘Waterside’ in Pigyard Gallery, Wexford (2017); ‘Sea breeze’ (2017) and ‘Serenity’ (2016) in The Gaslamp Gallery, Gorey; ‘Twenty14’ in Well’s House, Ballyedmond, co. Wexford
and many group exhibitions as well.
