„Business with Poland – Opportunities for Ireland’s South East” event,

took a place in Amber Springs Hotel & Spa Resort on Tuesday 30th of May. The meeting was hosted by Gorey Chamber Of Commerce in conjunction with Gorey Municipal District and Gorey.PL – Polish Cultural Association and it was a part of PolskaÉire Festival / PolskaÉire Gorey Festival 2017. Mr Robert Bak, II Secretary in the Trade & Investment Promotion Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland gave an in-depth presentation on the growing Polish economy and the how the Polish Embassy Dublin can help establish contacts between Irish and Polish businesses. The Embassy provide a tailored service for every client based on the nature of their enquiry.

There was an interesting discussion on how did Poland emerged relatively unscathed from the global recession and about the growing popularity of Poland as a tourist destination. Guests included Mr. Tom Banville Head of the Local Enterprise Office Wexford County Council and Ms. Sinead O Sullivan Vice President of Gorey Chamber Of Commerce. Following the meeting, Mr. John O’Connor, manager at The Hatch Lab gave a tour of the very impressive Innovation and Business Centre, the M11 Campus.
